Toyota Motors announced on Wednesday that it is calling back 112,500 of its vehicles due to repair issues with electric-vehicle software and electric power-steering controls, .

This recall involves 110,000 units of 2015 Highlander Hybrid, Highlander, Camry Hybrid, Camry, and 2014-1015 RAV4 Model Year vehicles which were made in partnership with TESLA, the Car Connection reported.

In its recall notice, Toyota said that there is a huge chance that a circuit board in its electric power-steering controls was damaged somewhere along its manufacturing process. Power-steering could be affected in the cited vehicles and could cause drivers to increase their efforts in steering and raising car crash risks.

If this happens, a "Check EV System" will prompt and its malfunction indicator will automatically turn on.

The Camry is currently Toyota's top-selling US vehicle and was pronounced No. 3 in the rank of top car sellers in February.

The recall also includes around 2,500 RAV4 EV 2012-1014 models, according to the Auto News. These are being called back due to the possibility of its Electric Vehicle Traction Motor Assembly to shift to neutral because of a software trouble.

Without power, these vehicles could not be maneuvered quickly; becoming a big problem in untoward circumstances.

Dealers will examine all vehicles and will conduct all of the necessary repairs for free, though there are still no cases of injuries and crashes ever reported due to these issues.

The car manufacturing company is in constant effort of finding a solution to this issue, but once it comes up with an efficient resolution, owners will be notified immediately.
