It seems that "Logan" will have a post-credits scene after all as a report from Collider confirmed it, but did not elaborate what the scene actually is nor will it be shown on the middle of the credits or at the end of it.So far, Fox has kept as tight a lid on "Logan" spoilers as possible, despite footage screenings from the film starting as early as December.

It was last year that "Deadpool" star Ryan Reynolds had shot a short scene for "Logan" that many fans have theorized to be a possible post-credits scene. But, when "Logan" began rolling out advance screenings ahead of the film’s official release, no such scene was included. In fact, the cut of the movie shown at these screenings did not include a mid- or post-credits scene at all.

Movie goers and comic fans will be anticipating the post-credits scene from "Logan" as it may link to potential "X-Men" sequels and spin-offs in the franchise's future.

In other news, the film's director James Mangold hints a possible spin-off for Laura Kinney/X-23 (Dafne Keen) in the "X-Men" film franchise.

Mangold told We Got This Covered that if Fox plans to have a film starring X-23, then he would want to be part of the production and even direct it. Mangold aslo commented on Keen's performance as mutant clone of Wolverine and possibly taking his mantle now that Hugh Jackman will be leaving the role after the film.

"Logan" will take place several years after the end of "X-Men: Days of Future Past" were an old and battle-scarred Logan/Wolverine (Jackman) works as a limousine driver to and is on hiding in the border of Mexico with an old and ailing Professor Charles Xavier (Patrick Stewart).

The two former X-Men encounter a young girl named Laura and suspected to be a mutant, as their kind was near extinction thanks to Transigen and the Reavers. Laura was experimented on and possibly turned into a weapon, but escaped and seeks help from both Logan and Charles.

It is theorized that Logan could be responsible for the death of the team similar tot the "Old Man Logan" comics , albeit being tricked into killing them. This could explain why Logan does not want to be involved with a new mutant or with Charles Xavier, and why he feels that he would be better off alone.

"Logan" will be in cinemas on March 3.
