With only ten episodes left in "Teen Wolf" Season 6, the MTV supernatural series is set to unveil the fate of beloved characters as they embark on a new journey towards adulthood. With many of Scott's (Tyler Posey) friends heading off to college, the said pack Alpha including Malia (Shelley Hennig) will also try to leave Beacon Hills to start a new life.

The back half of "Teen Wolf" Season 6 will explore Scott and Malia's plans to leave town but their new journey will be met with several challenges. Malia will be adamant to see the world but something will hold her back.

In an exclusive interview with Hollywood Life, showrunner Jeff Davis teased that Malia's arc will be one of the key plotlines in the MTV series' final episodes. It appears that the said character's relationship with her father Peter (Ian Bohen) will be a critical part of Malia's story.

Despite having a tenuous relationship with Peter, Malia was pivotal in the said character's rescue during the midseason finale of "Teen Wolf" Season 6. Aired on Jan. 31, Peter was pulled out from the Ghost Riders' Wild Hunt trance after Malia called him "dad" and implored him to return to her.

Apart from Malia, Scott's new journey as an independent young man about to start a new life will also be featured. With earlier episodes of the MTV series setting Liam (Dylan Sprayberry) up as Scott's beta and potential new Alpha, the show's final chapter will tackle Scott's mixed emotions about leaving his hometown.

Davis told TVLine in an earlier interview that Scott will try to figure out whether he can follow his dreams and embark on his own adventures outside Beacon Hills. With plans to entrust the town's security and safety under Liam's leadership, Scott will become apprehensive over his beta's abilities.

The showrunner added how they always wanted to explore an arc where Liam takes over Scott's role and the former alpha becomes a mentor. Davis added, "We really liked the big brother, little brother relationships that they found themselves falling into."

"Teen Wolf" Season 6 will return with the MTV series' final 10 episodes in summer. Watch a clip of Malia rescuing Peter from the Ghost Riders' Wild Hunt below:
