"NiOh" is one of the best action RPG-type that Team Ninja has created recently, and a lot of gamers are already enjoying its difficult yet entertaining gameplay. One of the many things that players will encounter in this game is the loot that they can pick up after an enemy falls.

Players can pick up several weapons along the way, but as the game goes on, the enemies get tougher and smarter. They will have to focus on one or two weapons only and these will need specific builds for William, the game's protagonist. Here are the specific builds that they can create for their playthrough.

The Katana is one of the best starting weapons to use in this video game for those who are not familiar with this type of genre, according to RPG Site. Players will have to focus on the Heart, Body, and Skill stats in order to realize the full potential of the weapon, and improve its effectiveness in battle. The Heart stat increases the weapons effectiveness, which will make it do more damage.

The Dual Katanas weapon type allows players to wield two swords at once, but it only needs one weapon slot. This type of weapon needs the Skill, Heart, and Strength stats to increase several weapon stats like damage, and it also unlocks a variety of weapon buffs and increases the Rifle damage. This stat also increases the effects of the light armor sets in the game.

The Axe is a heavy weapon to use, but it also deals heavy damage to an opponent in battle if it can be handled correctly. It will need the Strength, Stamina, and Body stats to make William wield it better in battle, and deal more damage. The focus here should be the Strength stat, which also allows players to wear heavier armor and unlocks its passive traits in the process.

The Spear weapon lets players fight against enemies in a distance, and it can deal damage in groups. This type of weapon will need the Body, Strength, and the Skill stats to make it more effective in battle. Heavier armors will be needed for the Spear wielders, but it will still allow them to dodge quickly when needed.

The Kusarigama is the chain-sickle weapon that delivers a lot of quick damage to an opponent in one exchange due to its multi-hit combos. Players will need to invest in the Dexterity, Skill, and Body stat to improve the effectiveness of the weapon to make it hit accurately. This will also add points into the Ninjutsu skill tree, which is a perfect partner for the Kusarigama.

For players who are still starting with this type of genre, they should stick with the swords or spears, as suggested by Segment Next. The Kusarigama and the other weapons are for those who are already familiar with "NiOh's" difficult gameplay.
