Crystal Palace has continued to struggle in their campaign this season. The team has lost five of their last six matches and is now in the 19th spot of the English top flight table, in the bottom three relegation zone, tied on points with cellar-dwellers Sunderland but ahead on goal differential. They are at risk of getting relegated to the Football League Championship next season with 13 rounds left in this term's competitions.

The Eagles are coming off a 0-1 nipping at the hands of middling squad Stoke City on the road at the Bet365 Stadium on Feb. 11, as per the Mirror.

After the two sides failed to find the back of the net for most of the match, Stoke City midfielder Joe Allen scored the lone goal of the contest in the 67th minute. Palace was eventually held scoreless for the rest of the match to succumb to their 16th defeat of the season. The loss was the second straight for head coach Sam Allardyce's squad.

Meanwhile, Middlesbrough was able to hold contending team Everton FC to a goalless tie at their home ground of Riverside Stadium during their most recent Premier League fixture also on Feb. 11, Sports Mole reported.

It was the eighth consecutive winless game for head coach Aitor Karanka's side, which dropped the squad to the 16th spot of the 20-team league table. They are now only two points above the relegation area.

The draw was the fourth one in the last six outings for the Smoggies.
