Leaked release schedules for the upcoming Windows 10 updates appear to suggest that Microsoft too is planning to roll out two new devices - the Surface Pro 5 and the Surface Phone. The latter will come out as early as November 2017 while the former is set to arrive around April or weeks after its rumored MWC 2017 intro.

Deployment of the Windows 10 Creators Update is practically confirmed this coming April as WCCFTech reported that work on Microsoft's latest operating system update has been finalized. If true then the next move from the tech giant is to provide the mobile device that will best showcase the OS' new feature bumps.

And that would be the company's 2-in-1 flagship, the Surface Pro 5 that reports said will be previewed in the coming days via the MWC 2017 Barcelona trade show. However, the hybrid device will not be commercially available until the next big Windows 10 jump has been completed. The Pro 5 will have to wait for the Creators Update rollout.

As the same WCCFTech report said, that will happen no later than April this year and shortly after the Surface Pro 5 will finally see the light of the day.

Then on to the next big projects from the Redmond-based software giant, and the first to drop is the Windows 10 Redstone 3. If the same report is to be believed, Redstone 3 is now on pre-release build and the plan is to make the step up around Fall of 2017. So it's fair to assume that the update will go live around November, the report added.

And the OS will need its own device showcase to show off the fresh features and functionalities. That honor will go to the long-rumored Surface Phone.

As recalled by the Inquisitr, the Surface Phone has been referred to by Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella as "the ultimate mobile device" and work on the flagship phone is currently underway. When the Surface Phone materializes, it will be delivered in three flavors - Consumer, Business and Premium, the report added.

Rumored to serve as the main engine of the device is Qualcomm's Snapdragon 835 with up to 8GB of RAM support, and the same specifications will be the driving force behind Continuum - the built-in Windows 10 feature that will allow users to run x86 apps on the device or use the Surface Phone as fully functional desktop computer when connected to a monitor.

As mentioned, the Surface Phone release date is happening as early as November 2017 or immediately after the Windows 10 Redstone 3 Update rollout.
