The "Ghost Recon: Wildlands" is set for release next month, and its live-action trailer confirms it is well on its way. Following the successful closed beta round earlier this February, the game has returned once again for the open beta to let players explore two more regions and claim bonus missions before the full release of the game.
As reported by PC Gamer, the open beta will allow players to travel to Itacua and Montuyoc, where they will get to meet new friends, see the sights, have a taste of their local cuisines, and kill a bunch of characters. The opening province of the game is Itacua, which is also one of the regions from the closed beta.
Itacua serves as a home base for fighters who went up against the Unidad forces and Santa Blanca cartel. On the other hand, Montuyoc is a dangerous site located in the highlands where cartel fighters go to train. Those who participate in either the closed or open beta and purchase the full game before the full release will get a free Unidad Conspiracy reward, which includes three missions in Media Luna. In the game, there exists a Unidad conspiracy against the Santa Blanca cartel, destabilizing the relationship of both groups.
According to VG247, the March reward also awaits Twitch Prime subscribers who sync their accounts ahead of the official release. With this reward, subscribers get the chance to have the War Within the Cartel items pack which includes the Santa Blanca Skorpion weapon skin, cap and shirt, as well as two exclusive gear patches. Players who play with the interactive map prior to the official release are also entitled to little bonuses as soon as the full game is released.
The "Ghost Recon: Wildlands" open beta went live on Feb. 23 and will run until 6 a.m. EST of Feb. 27. It is currently available for download on PC, Xbox One and PS4. The full game arrives on March 7.
