"NieR: Automata" has been released in Japan, but it will take a couple of weeks before it releases to North America. However, the digital download for the Japanese version has full English capabilities for players who do not want to wait.

According to Dual Shockers, the Japanese version of the game can be downloaded through the use of the Japanese PlayStation Store, and players only need a PSN account for the region. Players will need 48.27GB worth of bandwidth for downloading as well as 10.636 to start playing.

Also, while the "NieR: Automata" game has English text and voice acting, it only offers French, Italian, German, and Spanish text. It still costs 8,424 Yen including taxes, which equates to 74.42 dollars-a bit higher than the North American price once it gets released on March.

As of the moment, there is not much knowledge in terms of actual differences between the Japanese and the North American versions of "NieR: Automata," besides the fact that the X and Circle buttons' functions are inverted by default. It can still be changed through the settings, so it is not much of a problem.

However, the only known downside for purchasing the "NieR: Automata" Japanese version is the future DLCs. After all, players will need to buy the expansions on the Japanese PlayStation Store, as well as use their Japanese PSN accounts in order to play the game.

Meanwhile, players are upset about the trash item NIN64 which can be found through fishing in "NieR: Automata," according to Silicon Era. Most players thought of it as a reference to the Nintendo 64 console, and it classified as a trash item made them think that it was a tasteless comment from the developers.

In response, producer Yosuke Saito took to Twitter to address the outrage. He said that they will change the item and implement some bug fixes on the game's next patch.

"NieR: Automata" is now available in Japan and will be released March 7 in North America for the PS4. Here is the latest trailer for the game:
