"For Honor" game's major patch will make a lot of changes to many heroes. The PC version of the patch is released on Feb. 28 after a 15-minute maintenance period to implement it.

According to Game Rant, "For Honor" players on its console platform counterparts will need to wait a little bit more since the patch still needs to go through the certification processes with Sony and Microsoft for the PS4 and the Xbox One respectively. There is no timetable in the completion of the process, but it is expected for the developers to release an update soon.

As for the specific changes featured in the patch, Ubisoft Community Manager Fred posted in the Ubisoft Forums the full patch notes. However, most notable of these changes is the overall buff of the Valkyrie character the developer promised before.

The reason behind the buff for the character is because of a prior nerf that greatly impacted its ability to duel. The nerf was so bad that it went from top pick to a dead character, so a few corrections were applied. With the patch, the Valkyrie can now perform faster strikes and do more damage due to its quicker recovery time before attacks.

Also, the guardbreak mechanic is rolled back to its beta form, since both players and developers agree that it was a more useful skill before it was changed. As such, a guardbreak can now be countered if done during their guardbreak animation, compared to the previous one where players are unable to push their opponent if the other player's guardbreak collided first.

Patch 1.03 also offers a lot of minor fixes and improvements for the UI, chat system, and graphics. The anti-cheat system is not mentioned, however, despite the fact that a large number of innocent players were banned due to a bug.

"For Honor" is available for the PC, PS4, and Xbox One. Here is the latest video for the game:
