"This Is Us" Season 1 episode 17 will not be airing on Feb. 28. The NBC drama is on a brief hiatus and will return for the final two episodes next week. The upcoming segment happens to be penultimate and it is titled "What Now?" Here are a few spoilers for the curious fans. Read on to find out what happens next.

The previous episode shed light on Randall's childhood. The show revealed more about William and his wife as Randall takes a trip to his hometown with his biological father. In present day scenario, William experiences health crisis and a few hours after he passes away. William left a gift for Randal, a book of poems for his son.

When "This Is Us" Season 1 returns it will air episode 17 which will feature a reunion. According to TV Guide's description of "What Now?," the entire Pearson family comes together at Randall's house for William's funeral what is described as "an unusual party."

Meanwhile, the show will focus on Kevin and Sophie's relationship. Viewers will see some progress between the two. It is the night when Kevin's play premieres and things roll out in a way that bring the duo together and strengthen their bond.

In addition, Kate struggles to talk about her father's death to Toby. In the past, things don't look too good between Jack and Rebecca as she prepares to leave for a tour with her band.

In a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly, "This Is Us" creator Dan Fogelman talked about final two episodes.

"It starts to ramp up. [...] And then in 17 and 18, it becomes certainly not only a more significant story, but it becomes really significant in terms of Jack and Rebecca's relationship," Fogelman said. "And then by the end of the season, it reaches a pretty critical mass. And it will take us to the end of the season, and the events that take place in the finale definitely are the things that are going to carry over in terms of next year, and where we'll pick them up and how they're doing."
