On the small screen, McInnis played David Argus in "Descendants of the Sun" in 2016. The character was introduced in the third episode of the Korean drama series.

Among McInnis's co-stars in "Unspoken: Diary of an Assassin" are Will Yun Lee and Ian Anthony Dale. Both Will and Dale currently star in "Hawaii Five-0" Season 7 as Sang Min and Adam Noshimuri, respectively.

In 2011, McInnis appeared in "Hawaii Five-0." He played Ken Naoka in two episodes of the TV series.

McInnis was born in Green Bay, Wisconsin, but he grew up in Antigo, Wisconsin, and Honolulu, Hawaii. He is of German, Irish and Korean descent.

Also joining McInnis, Will and Dale in "Unspoken: Diary of an Assassin" are Brian Tee and stuntwoman Zoe Bell. The former, who plays Dr. Ethan Choi in "Chicago Med" Season 2, recently revealed that his dream role was Marvel's Namor.

Tee told Comic Book that the Marvel character is "kind of a bit of an anti-hero with a bit of an edge." He said he felt like he somewhat falls in that line, especially with other things that he has done, so that was the kind of aspect that he would love to bring into Namor.

Meanwhile, Bell signed on with Curious Films as an actor, producer and director in December 2016, New Zealand Herald reported. The production company is owned by "Thor: Ragrarok" director Taika Waititi.
