A flashback in "Once Upon a Time" Season 6 will reveal a piece of information that may be the most heartbreaking one the series has ever had. Recently, executive producers Adam Horowitz and Edward Kitsis shared what fans can expect from the upcoming episodes.

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Horowitz and Kitsis confirmed that viewers will find out in Season 6 episode 11 titled "Tougher than the Past" where Emma Swan (Jennifer Morrison) got her last name. They also confirmed that this season, the role of Henry Mills (Jared Gilmore) as an author will come into play.

In the upcoming episodes, viewers will see another Savior other than Emma and Aladdin (Deniz Akdeniz), according to Horowitz and Kitsis. They added that someone from Storybrooke will travel to Agrabah to help Aladdin and Jasmine (Karen David).

In another interview with TV Guide, the executive producers were asked how much of the life of Gideon (Giles Matthey) with the Black Fairy (Jaime Murray) will be shown in the upcoming episodes. Viewers will see what happened from the time Gideon was kidnapped from the Black Fairy to his arrival in Storybrooke, Kitsis said.

In a flashback episode, viewers will see Gideon grow up. In the remaining episodes of Season 6, it is important to see what happened with the Black Fairy, according to Horowitz.

On the other hand, Kitsis pointed out that Snow (Ginnifer Goodwin) and Prince Charming (Josh Dallas) will stay true to their promise that they will always find each other. Their need to be together is one thing and their need to be there for Emma is another, the executive producer said.

Airing on ABC on March 5, Sunday, "Tougher than the Past" is directed by Billy Gierhart. The episode will also star Lana Parilla, Emilie de Ravin, Colin O'Donoghue, Rebecca Mader, Robert Carlyle, Eion Bailey, Gaalen Engen, Mckenna Grace, Rustin Gresiuk, Sean Maguire, Nancy Sivak and Wil Traval.
