After "Arrow" Season 5 episode 15 titled "Fighter Fire with Fire" aired on March 1, Wednesday, on The CW, viewers found out that Adrian Chase (Josh Segarra) is Prometheus. This made viewers wonder who the character under the Vigilante mask is.

Unfortunately, viewers will not find out the answer to that question anytime soon. The only way to find out is to force executive producer Marc Guggenheim to spill the beans before Season 5 ends.

"We know the answer to that," Guggenheim told Entertainment Weekly. "You probably will not get the answer to that in Season 5."

Season 5 episode 16 is titled "Checkmate." Directed by Ken Shane, the episode will air on March 15.

In "Checkmate," Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) will get closer to the truth about Prometheus. On the other hand, the secret computer hacker team called Helix, which is based in Star City, will refuse to continue helping Felicity Smoak (Emily Bett Rickards) until she does a favor for them.

Joining Segarra, Amell and Rickards in "Checkmate" are Juliana Harkavy as Dinah Drake, David Ramsey as John Diggle, Willa Holland as Thea Queen, Echo Kellum as Curtis Holt, Paul Blackthorne as Quentin Lance, Mike Dopud as Viktor, Parveen Dosanjh as Doris Chase, David Meunier as Ishmael Gregor and David Nykl as Anatoly Knyazev. Stuntwoman Nilo Ghajar will also play a student in the episode.

In the comics, Oliver married Dinah Laurel Lance but the latter, known as Black Canary played by Katie Cassidy in "Arrow," died in The CW series. This led to the speculations that Harkavy's character, known as the first Black Canary, will be the new love interest of Oliver.

But in another interview with the same publication, Amell implied that this is not likely. He said the idea that Oliver would end up with the Black Canary being Katie Cassidy or any new iteration thereof could happen but it is certainly neither destined nor predesigned to happen.
