Pete will stay at the place of T.J. There, the former will witness a comedian just cannot "turn it off."

"Yard Sale" was directed by Chris Kelly. Holmes co-wrote it with Judd Apatow.

It was Apatow who directed episode 1 titled "Artie Lange," which was written by Holmes. Kelly directed episode 2 titled "The Road," which Holmes co-wrote with Oren Brimer.

In "Artie Lange," Pete was introduced to the viewers as a comedian who caught his wife in a compromising position. After his wife then left, he tried to find solace at a New York comedy club, where he met Artie Lange, played by the cynical comedy legend himself.

In "The Road," Artie offered to let Pete be his opening act in exchange for a ride to Albany. Pete met T.J., who was his fellow headliner, and tried to save Artie from breaking his sobriety.

Joining Holmes, Basil, Lapkus and Lange in "Yard Sale" are Kapil Bawa, Ann Carr, John Dinello, Carmine Famiglietti, Gina Gershon, Katy Grenfell and Shade Rupe. Maggie LeVine and Faith Logan will play comedy club patrons in the episode but they are not credited.
