The exiled Tibetan leader and Chinese government’s word fight got fuelled up on Tuesday. The China called Dalai Lama an “actor and a liar” as a response to his “parts of brain” statement.

"We often say that the 14th Dalai Lama is a political exile who wears religious clothing to engage in anti-China separatist activities," said Geng Shuang, a Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokesman.

"Now it seems he is an actor, who is very good at performing, and very deceptively," Geng added.

With current political developments in the U.S., the wordy duel makes an impact. Comedian John Oliver asked the Dalai Lama for his thoughts about reports of China appointing his successor.

The Dalai Lama said that our brain “has the ability to create common sense."

"The Chinese hardliners, in their brain, that part of the brain, is missing," the Tibetan leader added.

According to Geng, the Dalai Lama’s remarks "appear to be funny and humorous but they are all lies."

The Tibetan leader’s comment was given before the upcoming annual meeting of legislators in Tibet, where, the Dalai Lama is denounced as a separatist trying to make China fall apart.

In a few weeks, the Dalai Lama plans to visit Arunachal Pradesh, a “disputed territory” of China. The country has asked the India to impede the visit.

"China is strongly opposed to Dalai visiting disputed areas," Geng said.

Geng warned of the “serious damage” the Dalai Lama’s visit may bring to Sino-India ties. According to him, Beijing was “gravely concerned.”

The China does not want the Tibetan leader to meet any famous person, such as Lady Gaga, as this gives the Dalai Lama a worldwide exposure, hindering their efforts to make the leader appear as an impostor.

Hong Lei, a Foreign Ministry Spokesperson said, "the purpose of his visits and activities in other countries is just to promote his proposal for Tibetan independence."

"We hope that people from the international community can be fully aware of his true colors and nature," he added.

The exchange of remarks between the exiled Tibetan leader Dalai Lama and China is expected to continue in the upcoming days.
