In an interview with Hip Hop DX, Quo revealed what he knew about the much awaited ninth album of the "Rap God" rapper. According the Atlanta rapper, he recently received a call from Detroit rap group d12 member Denaun Porter, 38, who is professionally known as Kon Artis.

Quo said that Artis and Eminem were working on the upcoming studio album. In 2008, Quo left Shady Records and he has not met Eminem since then.

Quo's debut album "Statlanta" was originally scheduled to be released in 2003 but the release date was repeatedly delayed. Unhappy with the delay, the Atlanta rapper left Eminem and Dr. Dre's labels and eventually released his debut studio album independently in 2010.

In an earlier interview with the same publication, Quo revealed that there was a song titled "Dance On It," which was supposed to be included in "Stalanta." Eminem wrote the chorus, which Quo thought was not good so he changed the lyrics. This angered the "Rap God" rapper at the time, Quo revealed.

According to Quo, he is set to meet with Eminem and Dr. Dre in Los Angeles, California. Considering their history, Quo said they will "figure that out."

This is a confirmation that Eminem is currently busy working on his upcoming ninth studio album. Although Quo did not directly mention it, it appears that he, Artis and Dr. Dre will be featured as collaborators in the upcoming album.

On Dec. 5, 2006, Eminem released a hip hop compilation album titled "Eminem Presents: The Re-up." D12 and Quo were among the artists featured in the album along with 50 Cent, Obie Trice, Bobby Creekwater, Cashis, Lloyd Bankd, Akon and Nate Dogg.
