An Instagram post by Blossom Entertainment said that “Descendants of the Sun” actor, a talent of the agency, would attend the 29th Korea PD Awards on March 17. The award recognizes actors, actresses, singers and variety programs.
While Blossom hinted that the actor – speculated to be starring in “Descendants of the Sun 2” – could win an award, a Twitter announcement from a Facebook fan page in Singapore of Song Joong-ki said that he won the Best Performer Award under the Actor Category.
134 TV Shows
According to PD Journal, Korea PD Association Chairman Gwi-hyun held on Feb. 21 and 22 a preliminary review of 134 TV shows aired in KBS, SBS and MBC of shows such as the “Emotional Science Project Reincarnation,” “Life Game Heir,” “Green Moonlight.” “Dawn of the Sun,” “Marriage Contract” and “Doctors.” In the TV episode category, the association reviewed KBS drama “Imjinwaeran 1592,” SBS special feature “Soger and Ladder” and the SBS show “Seowal, No. 205” and “Secret Document.”
For the TV commercial section, the association reviewed “Gifted and Talented Devils” of SBS, “TV Animal Farm – Discomfort Truth of Puppy Factory” of SBS and “Docurfium – Disappeared Human” of EBS. Also included are “One Night and Two Days – Named King Sejong’s Special Naratom Sai” of KBS, “Golden Fishes – Radio Star” of MBC, “Infinite Challenge – Great Heritage” of MBC, the “Han River” MBC Special Natural Documentary of MBC and “Tree” an EBC Documentary Prime of a Korea Episode Epic.
Radio Shows
In the experimental mood radio section, those which underwent the preliminary trial were the FM Hangeul poetry of KBS, the news sound scene show of Kim Hyun Jung of CBS, and the Baekdusan documentary of ROK C-701. For the radio premiere drama division, included are “Successful Foresight Kim Won-jang” of KBS, “News Factory of Kim Joon-jun” of TBS and “Shisazaki Koo Gwan Yong” of CBS, “Watchers – Outlaw Barracks Busan Project” of KBS Changwon and “Joy of Life” of KBS.
In the TV special feature section, the list includes “Invisible Terror Waste Metal Mine” of MBC Gangwon Youngdong and “Last Guard” of Ulsan MBC.
