Leroy Jethro Gibbs (Mark Harmon) and the NCIS team will re-investigate a closed case in "NCIS" Season 14 episode 18 titled "M.I.A." This is to honor the dying wish of a sailor.

The closed case was originally declared an accidental death. Gibbs will discover that it was actually murder.

Nick Torres (Wilder Valderrama), on the other hand, will be personally affected by the probe. It will remind him of a tragic time from his past.

Joining Harmon and Valderrama in "M.I.A." are Sean Murray as Timothy McGee, Pauley Perrette as Abby Sciuto, Jennifer Esposito as Alex Quinn, Brian Dietzen as Jimmy Palmer, Emily Wickersham as Ellie Bishop, Rocky Carroll as Leon Vance and David McCallum as Donald Mallard. Duane Henry, Katherine Cunningham and Preston Jones as M16 Officer Clayton Reeves, Navy Lieutenant Laura Ellison and Navy Petty Officer First Class David Collins, respectively.

In "NCIS" Season 14 episode 17 titled "What Lies Above," a robber burgled McGee's apartment. The robber was looking for a valuable item hidden by the previous tenant, who was a convicted criminal.

Originally, Torres won Tony DiNozzo's (Michael Weatherly) apartment in the lottery but gave it to McGee. In an interview with Parade, Murray was asked if Torres was glad that he was not living there.

"That was actually one of my favorite moments when Torres gave it to McGee, because McGee is probably on his way to starting a family," Murray told the publication. "He is getting married and all of that. That was a thing between Torres and McGee that I really liked."

Meanwhile, Wickersham was asked about the possible job change of Gibbs in another interview with TV Line. The actress said there is always the possibility of change at "NCIS."

Written by Jennifer Corbett and directed by Thomas J. Wright, "M.I.A." will air on CBS on March 14, Tuesday, at 8 a.m. Check the recent guest appearance of Harmon on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" here:
