There are at least two actors of Asian descent who have appeared in "Game of Thrones." The first one to play a regular role is Jessica Yu Li Henwick, who was born to a British father and a Singaporean mother.

"It's scary that I'm the first," Henwick told Phil Star when asked about show she felt as the first Asian actor to be in the HBO series. "But I take it in stride and hope I can lift up that responsibility."

Henwick's character Nymeria Sand was introduced in "Game of Thrones" Season 5 episode 4 titled "Sons of the Harpy." The character will be seen again in the first episode of Season 7, which will air on July 16.

Rila Fukushima played a red priestess in "Game of Thrones" Season 5 episode 3 titled "Red Sparrow," which aired on April 26, 2015. The Japanese actress, who is also a fashion model, is set to star in "Ghost in the Shell" with Scarlett Johansson.

Fans are aware that "Game of Thrones" Season 8 will be the last season of the HBO series. Here are some of the most popular Asian actors of today who, like Henwick and Fukushima, are qualified to join the cast:

13. Liza Soberano

Soberano was born to a Filipino father and an American mother. Shot in South Korea, her most recent film "My Exes and Why" has a cameo appearance of former K-Pop girl group 2NE1 member Sandra Park.  

12. Dave Bautista

Bautista was born to a Filipino father and a Greek mother. He is set to reprise his role as Drax in "Guardians of the Galaxy 2."

11. Mayling Ng

Ng will play Orana in "Wonder Woman." She is of Chinese, Singaporean and British heritage and was born in England.

10. Dev Patel

Patel received his first Academy Award nomination for his supporting role in the 2016 film "Lion." While his parents are originally from Nairobi, Kenya, they are both of Gujarati Indian descent.

9. Pom Klementieff

Klementieff will play Mantis in "Guardians of the Galaxy 2" and "Avengers: Infinity War." She was born to a French-Russian father and a Korean mother in Quebec, Canada.

8. Kenneth Choi

After playing a Yakuza boss in "Suicide Squad," Choi will play Principal Morita in "Spider-Man: Homecoming." He was born to Korean immigrants in Chicago, Illinois.

7. Claudia Kim

After playing Dr. Helen Cho in "Avengers: Age of Ultron," Kim will star in "The Dark Tower" as Arra Champignon" with Idris Elba as The Gunslinger and Matthew McConaughey as Man in Black. The South Korean actress played Khutulun in "Marco Polo."

6. Ludi Lin

After playing Batbayer in "Marco Polo," Lin will play Zack/Black Ranger in "Power Rangers." Born in Fuzhou, China, he was sent abroad to boarding schools in Australia before emigrating to Canada.

5. Kelly Marie Tran

Tran is in the "Star Wars: The Last Jedi" cast. She is Vietnamese-American.  

4. Donnie Yen

In "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story," Yen played a Zatoichi-esque blind warrior named Chirrut Îmwe. The actor was born in Guangzhou, China.

3. Priyanka Chopra

Aside from playing the lead role in "Quantico," Chopra will also play Victoria Leeds in "Baywatch." The Indian actress won Miss World in 2000.

2. Lee Min Ho

Lee was born in Seoul, South Korea. Before starring in "The Legend of the Blue Sea," he starred in "Gangnam Blues" with Kim Rae Won, Jeong Jin Yeong and Kim Ji Su.

1. Zhang Ziyi

Born and raised in Beijing, China, Zhang is best known for the films "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon," "House of Flying Daggers," "Memoirs of Geisha" and "The Crossing." She is set to star in Julius Onah's "God Particle" with David Oyelowo, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Daniel Brühl, Elizabeth Debicki, Chris O'Dowd, Aksel Hennie and John Ortiz.
