On March 20, Monday, Eminem took to Twitter to announce that the tickets for Glasgow Summer Sessions 2017 have been sold out. The "Rap God" rapper will be the headliner of the event this year.

Glasgow Summer Sessions 2017 will be held at Bellahouston Park on Aug. 24. Eminem will be joined by Run The Jewels, Danny Brown and Russ.

This will be the second time that Eminem is headlining the event. He was also the headliner of the same event in 2013.

"We're delighted to announce that Eminem will be returning to play Glasgow Summer Sessions," Glasgow Summer Sessions organizer Geoff Ellis said in a statement obtained by Glasgow Evening Times. "His performance at Bellahouston Park in 2013 was spectacular, so I have no doubt this will be one of the gigs of the year. Joining him on the bill are Run The Jewels, Danny Brown and Russ with Glasgow once again taking centre stage as a destination for the world's biggest artists."

Aside from Glasgow Summer Sessions 2017, Glasgow will also host a brand new festival called TRNSMT, which will take from July 7-9. The event will be headlined by Kasabian, Radiohead and Biffy Clyro, NME has learned.
