According to the report, the "Visit UAE" delegation will be headed by Undersecretary of the Ministry of Economy, Mohammed Khamis Al Mheiri, who is also the advisor to the Minster for Tourism Affairs.

The roster of visiting officers will also include Abdullah Saleh Al Hammadi, director of the Ministry of Tourism's Tourism Department, as well as different representatives of UAE tourism agencies and hotel, tourism and travel firms.

Al Mheiri revealed that this year's edition of "Visit UAE" will feature new attractions to entice more Chinese tourists to visit the region. The promotional roadshow will also showcase the concerted efforts of the Ministry of Economy and related organizations to promote the country's unique and innovative tour services.

Thanks to the full support given by the government, Al Mheiri stressed that UAE's culture and tourism sectors have been growing rapidly. The country's leadership has initiated various undertakings to develop their industry-enhancing infrastructure. UAE has also seen sustained investments for tourism facilities to help attract more visitors.

The Emirates has also diversified its services that it offers to foreign tourists. For Al Mheiri, organizing promotional events such as Visit UAE is important in "enriching the image of UAE tourism sector among foreign visitors," the article wrote.

The undersecretary also said that UAE considers China as a lucrative market for its tourism endeavors. He acknowledged that the deep ties between the two countries are paramount factors in fostering a stronger culture and tourism sector in UAE.

The two countries have launched different initiatives that boost tourism, which includes the issuing of visas to Chinese tourists upon arrival to the Emirates.
