Xiaomi's flagship phones continue to frequent the rumor mill as the new leak went deep on the Mi 6 and Mi 6 Plus' hardware and software through a specifications sheet. The pricing and variants for the said smartphones were also revealed.
For some time now, Xiaomi's upcoming smartphones, Mi 6 and Mi 6 Plus, are surfacing online with their key specs and hardware. Now, the latest renders on the smartphones reveal their pricing and variants.
According to NDTV, the Xiaomi Mi 6 will be expected in three variants: a 4GB of RAM with 32GB storage, 4GB of RAM with 64GB memory, and a 6GB of RAM coupled with 128GB of internal memory, which are pegged at CNY 1,999 (roughly Rs. 19,000), CNY 2,299 (roughly Rs. 21,800) and CNY 2,699 (roughly Rs. 25,600), respectively.
In addition, the Xiaomi Mi 6 Plus model is tipped in three variants: a 4GB of RAM with 64GB of storage, 6GB of RAM with 128GB of memory, and 8GB of RAM coupled with 256GB of internal storage, which are priced at CNY 2,599 (roughly Rs. 24,700), CNY 2,999 (roughly Rs. 28,500) and CNY 3,499 (roughly Rs. 33,200), respectively.
As for the phones' specification, the Xiaomi Mi 6 is expected to feature a 5.15-inch full HD display, resulting to 1920X1080 screen resolution, Gizmo China reported. Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by a Snapdragon 835 processor clocked at 2.45GHz.
In its optics department, the Xiaomi Mi 6 sports a single 19-megapixel Sony IMX400 rear sensor, while an 8-megapixel ultrapixel sensor sits on the front panel. It houses a 3200mAh battery, while its software runs the MIUI 8 that is based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
On the other hand, the bigger Xiaomi Mi 6 Plus variant covers a 5.7-inch screen display with 1920 x 1080p resolution. The Mi 6 Plus also powers a Snapdragon 835 SoC inside like its smaller model.
Aside from the bigger screen, the Mi 6 Plus variant sports a dual-camera setup that differs with its standard. According to the spec sheet, the smartphone is geared with rear dual Sony IMX362 sensors. Upfront, it features an 8-megapixel ultrapixel sensor.
Housing the Mi 6 Plus is a hefty 4500mAh battery that should run bigger workflows and gaming. Surprisingly, its software runs on Android 7.0 Nougat against the Marshmallow firmware found on its standard model.
Xiaomi has not confirmed the specs list to official so users should take them with a pinch of salt. However, the flagship phones are expected to be unveiled on April.
