Talulah Riley has been promoted to a series regular for HBO's "Westworld" Season 2. The actress will reprise her role as Angela, a character she portrayed throughout six episodes in the first season.

In "Westworld" Season 1, Riley played Angela, the beautiful host who welcomes guests to Westworld. Although her appearances were brief, they were all one of the most memorable scenes in the show. In the new season, Riley's Angela will become even deadlier.

"A host whose beatific face welcomed guests to Westworld for decades ... Angela will prove to be one of the last faces many guests will ever see," the show describes the character, EW reports.

The British actress previously appeared in "Inception," "Pride and Prejudice" and "The Boat That Rocked."

Meanwhile, "Westworld" Season 2 spoilers reveal that although Doctor Ford is definitely dead, Anthony Hopkins could return in some capacity. When one fan asked if it's possible Ford made a host version of himself, the producers said the question is "really, really good" but refused to comment on the matter directly.

Other "Westworld" Season 2 spoilers reveal that the upcoming season will be about chaos and transcendence.

"If the first season was defined by control, the second season is defined by chaos. That's part of what we come to understand Ford has been planning all along ... Ford has set in motion what he thinks is a plan," Jonathan Nolan revealed in the season-ender featurette, as quoted by /FILM.

"The nature of that plan is something we explore in the second season. What his intentions are: are they to let Dolores or the other Hosts escape? Are they simply to teach the human guests a lesson?"

Fans can also expect to see newer sets, as Nolan revealed that they never had any intention to keep the setting in one place. Moreover, it is said that each season will have a different feel and theme, which suggests that "Westworld" Season 2 would look slightly different from the Old West theme of the previous season.

"Westworld" Season 2 release date is expected in October 2017.
