There is a 22-year age gap between 51-year-old Hong Kong actor Aaron Kwok and his future wife, 29-year-old fashion designer Moka Fang. An image of the notice of marriage that was recently leaked online shows the couple registered the document on March 4.
Ironically, in the document, at 29 years old, Moka Fang listed her civil status as “spinster” because there were only three choices and there was no choice of “single” for the unmarried applicant. The other choices were “widow” or “divorced” for women, while for men the never-married applicant had “bachelor” as among the choices for civil status which Aaron Kwok wrote, China.org reported.
Single But Not Old Maid
The word “spinster” is often equated with the term “old maid” or a woman who was never married but is usually in her late 30s or older. But there was another older woman whom the actor took into account when he hinted in February that he would soon marry. She is his aging mother whom he wanted to prove he is a dutiful son by settling down.
In February, there were rumors that Moka Fang is pregnant, but the actor denied the rumor. To debunk the rumors she is two months pregnant, Moka Fang posted pictures of herself exercising, The Straits Times reported. A few days after Aaron Kwok denied the rumor, he said at a press conference when his new racing team was launched that he considers having kids, which is something he planned, is very important to him.
16 Girlfriends
Before Moka Fang, the last girlfriend of the actor was Lynn Hung, a Hong Kong actress and fashion model with whom he had a relationship that lasted seven years. Since he started his acting career in 1984, Aaron Kong said he had 16 official and unofficial girlfriends, including Shu Qi, Norika Fujiwara, Christy Chung and Athena Chu.
Siu Mei, the manager of Aaron Kwok, who is currently shooting “Monkey King 3, said the actor’s family wants to keep his wedding low-profile which is the reason why he has not disclosed the date and other details of his wedding to Moka Fang to his fans and the public.
