Photographers snapped Blunt shooting a scene for "Mary Poppins 2" outside the Buckingham Palace, in which she appears to be riding a bicycle. Hitching a ride is "Hamilton" creator Lin-Manuel Miranda. According to ScreenRant, Miranda plays the role of Jack, a friend of Blunt's Mary Poppins.

Also featured in the scene are two three children, which are presumed to be Michael Banks' kids. It was previously reported that the now-grown Michael would have three children in the sequel, so the fact that one of the kids are not included in the scene would somehow factor into the plot.

"Mary Poppins 2" is set in Depression-era London 20 years after the events of the 1964 original film. In the sequel, Mary Poppins returns to the lives of the now grown-up Banks children after a tragedy. The grown up Michael and Jane Banks are portrayed by Ben Whishaw and Emily Mortimer, respectively, The Telegraph reported. As kids, the Banks children were nannied by Mary Poppins, as portrayed by Julie Andrews in the original film.

Also starring in "Mary Poppins 2" are Meryl Streep, Colin Firth, Julie Walters and Angela Lansbury in supporting roles. Dick Van Dyke is also involved in the film as Mr. Dawes Jr., the son of Mr. Dawes who Van Dyke played in the original "Mary Poppins" movie. The sequel is directed by Rob Marshall, whose notable works include "Chicago" and "Into the Woods."

The sequel is expected to pretty much hold up the same way as its predecessor especially in terms of the musical number. Mortimer was photographed filming a dance number for "Mary Poppins 2." She was also joined by Whishaw.

Of course, Blunt is also expected to showcase her singing and dancing prowess as Mary Poppins. This wouldn't be her first musical film, as she previously starred in "Into the Woods" with Streep.
