The video showed the Chinese woman was shouting profanities at a calm man in another car who filmed the incident. The two were arguing over right of way in a narrow portion of a street in the Chinese city, Wort reported. After the woman returned to the car which has a diplomatic plate number, a passerby who saw the incident, provoked the man in the car.

He said, “You’re clearly not a man, if that had had been me I would’ve hit her.” The passerby’s remark further angered the envoy’s girlfriend who shouted, “what’s this got to do with you, are you brain dead?”

Cuss Words

The passerby then approached Storne’s car and attempted to pull out the foul-mouthed woman out of the diplomatic vehicle. The envoy came to his girlfriend’s rescue and threatened the passerby, while the woman continued to shout profanities, using words such as “cu**” and “fu** you.”

The driver of the vehicle involved in the altercation, Deng Xiaotang, a wedding photographer, said he could not blame the diplomat who did not understand what his Chinese girlfriend was saying. In his post, Deng said he offered to translate for Storne, but the foul-mouthed girlfriend refused. However, the couple eventually backed down and let Deng’s car pass, Shanghaiist reported.

After the video of the incident became viral, with more than 50,000 comments and 40,000 shares, the consulate issued a statement that the video offended many Chinese netizens. It promised to probe the incident to find out that whole truth what happened.
