The 2017 edition of the Radio Pop Music Awards also witnessed first-rate and thrilling performances of rock bands Mayday and Lion. Their stints highlighted both the beginning and closing of the awarding ceremony.

Hsiao formed the band only in September last year. In the same month, they released their self-titled debut album.

Meanwhile, Mayday singer Ashin, who sounded tired because they were busy touring, remarked that the band would "fire up" once they hit the stage for their performance. Living up to his words, they lit up the ceremony's atmosphere with their set list.

Apart from these groups, singer-actor Bii also performed during the occasion, singing his track called "Sweet Little Baby." The song was taken from his 2016 album, "I'm Bii to the Double I."

The 27-year-old star was one of the event's scene stealers as he wore a white see-through shirt under his jacket.

For this year's ceremony, Joker won the Best Male Singer award while Weiwei clinched the counterpart Best Female Singer title.

After bagging two more trophies, Joker was hailed as the biggest winner of the 7th Radio Pop Music Awards.
