Another trailer has been released for the upcoming supernatural horror film, "Insidious: Chapter 3". The trailer said that Whannel's upcoming film is the most terrifying chapter.
"Insidious: Chapter 3" is the anticipated third installment in the "Insidious" series and it will present the origin of the saga. The film will focus with the Brenner family at the time before the haunting of the Lambert family. Chapter three shall also unveil to the fans how psychic Elise Rainier chose to use her psychic powers to help Quinn, the teenage character targeted by the supernatural entities, while mysteries of The Further unfold.
As per Cinema Blend, the said trailer is "full of jumps and scares" and the fans will experience more shocks and terror as the film deepens people's understanding of The Further.
The new film trailer showed that the supernatural entity in the upcoming film is far more dangerous that the one who haunted the family of Patrick Wilson and Rose Byrne since the entity demonstrated physical attacks such as in the scene before Quinn sleeps and the attempt to kill her by dragging her from the window.
The film will star Dermot Mulroney as Sean Brenner, Stefanie Scott as Quinn Brenner, Tate Berney as Alex Brenner, Angus Sampson as Tucker, Leigh Whannell as Specs, Lin Shaye as Elise Rainier, and Tom Fitzpatrick as the Bride In Black.
Other members of the cast include Michael Reid MacKay, Steve Coulter, Hayeley Kiyoko, Corbett Tuck, Tom Gallop, Jeris Pointdexter, Phyllis Applegate, and Ele Keats.
The film is set to be directed by Leigh Whannell, with Jason Blum, Laura Altmann, Lia Buman, Jeanette Brill, Philip Dawe, Brian Kavanaugh-Jones, Oren Peli, Bailey Conway, Rick Osako, Xavier Marchand, Peter Schlessel, Steven Schneider, and James Wan as co-producers.
Former "Insidious" film director James Wan moves on and was set to pilot "Fast and Furious 7", having Whannell to direct the film. According to Screenrant, Whannell's immersion as "Specs" in the first two installment of the "Insidious" franchise as well as his immediacy to the former "Insidious" director will ensure that the third film will advance its terror. As per the quality of the trailer, Cinema Blend said that the film is in good hands, despite Whannel's film directing debut.
"Insidious: Chapter 3" is slated to premiere in theaters and cinemas in the United States on June 5.
