“Xi Jinping: The Governance of China,” the president’s book on governance, has earned nods and praises from various ambassadors to the country, as they stated in a series of interviews conducted by state-run Xinhua News Agency.

The book introduces China's journey toward development before a global audience and discusses the nation's internal as well as foreign policies. It contains President Xi's notable speeches, instructions and answers to questions spanning from Nov. 2012 to June 13, 2014.

According to Switzerland's ambassador to China, Jean-Jacques de Dardel, the book serves as a reliable reference on the country's contemporary policies. de Dardel also mentioned of Xi's constructive thoughts about reform.

For Friis Arne Petersen, Denmark's ambassador to the country, Xi's book on governance is one significant bridge that links Chinese leaders' chain of thoughts with that of Danish government officials.

Meanwhile, Mohammad Saleh Al-Thuwaikh, Kuwaiti ambassador to China, thought of the book as a reflection of the Chinese president's goal of national rejuvenation.

Through the immensely supported book, President Xi's laudable vision about the country's socio-economic growth is being unfolded before a great global crowd. This is according to Masood Khalid, Pakistan's ambassador to China.

Moreover, the Pakistani ambassador stressed how foreign readers could learn more about the rich history of China as well as its dynamic society and politics by merely reading the book.

One of those Khalid cited is the vital roles played by the Silk Road Economic Belt and the Maritime Silk Road endeavor in boosting the country's international partnerships and joint ventures.

These initiatives cited in the book also received positive reviews from the Egyptian ambassador to China, Magdy Amer.

Ambassador Amer stated that the world's most populous nation's effort to integrate itself in the international arena is very crucial in transforming Xi's goal into a reality.

For Soegeng Rahardjo, Indonesian Ambassador, Xi's book on governance is a must-read for diplomats and political figures alike who wish to have a better understanding of the modern China and its way forward.

Since its release in September of last year, the book has already sold over 3 million copies, which include 300,000 copies written in foreign languages.
