Apple was the target of a Chinese CEO's criticism as he compared the iPhone maker to the Nazi dictator Adolf Hitler.
Leshi TV CEO Jia Yueting posted an ad for the Chinese tech company's new Android smartphone on his verified Weibo page, which has over five million followers.
The poster ad features a cartoonish Hitler wearing the typical Nazi uniform with a red armband. Instead of the Nazi swastika, the logo was on the red armband was replaced with a white Apple logo, according to The Verge.
There is also text on top of the poster, comparing Google's Android to freedom and Apple's iOS to tyranny.
Jia also wrote on his Weibo page that Apple is oppressing innovation in the smartphone industry and does not consider the interests of mobile users.
"Under the arrogant regime of iOS domination that developers around the world love yet hate, we are always carefully asking, 'is this kind of innovation okay?," wrote Jia.
Another noticeable bit from the poster is the open doors and the pathway that subtly resembles the tech company's LeTV X900 smartphone.
LeTV's ad campaign is just one of the many that criticizes Apple for stifling innovation. Just recently, Google also released its own Android advertisement with odd animal couples paired with a tagline that says "Be together. Not the same."
As the name suggests, LeTV, which has a net worth of nearly $4 billion, mainly focuses on televisions. The ad is part of their ad campaign for their entrance into the smartphone industry.
Several sites have reported that the upcoming LeTV X900 smartphone will sport a 5.5-inch display, 4GB RAM and the most recent USB Type-C port, which the new MacBook Air from Apple will also have.
