"Fast and Furious 7" gets the top spot in the box office this week.

James Wan's car racing action film "Fast and Furious 7" topped the box office charts this weekend. As per Variety, the film holds the highest gross opening record among the "Fast and Furious" films, ranking ninth among the top 10 kickoffs in history.

Since its release on Apr. 3, the seventh installment of the film has got an estimated domestic gross of $143 million and an estimated foreign gross of $240, for a total of $380 million. The films estimated weekend gross topped even last year's "Captain America: The Winter Soldier," which got an estimated weekend gross of $95 million.

Tim Johnson's animated film "Home" fell in the second spot, having an estimated gross of $27 million for the weekend. "Home" was the first place last week with an estimated weekend gross of $52 million. It stars Jim Parsons and Rihanna

Etan Cohen's comedy film "Get Hard" also fell from last week's second place to the third spot. It got an estimated weekend gross of $13 million, which indicates 61.8% change from its estimated gross of $34 million last week. The film stars Will Ferrell, Kevin Hart, Craig Nelson, Alison Brie, and T.I.

In the fourth place for this week's box office is Kenneth Branagh's Disney live action "Cinderella." This week, it got an estimated gross of $10 million, which is an estimated 40% decrease from last week's estimated gross of $17 million. Lily James, Richard Madden, Cate Blanchett, Helena Bonhan Carter, Stellan Skarsgard, and Hayley Atwell star in the film.

Robert Schetwentke's action-adventure film "The Divergent Series: Insurgent" stands at the fifth spot from last week's third spot. Its estimated gross for the week is $10 million, which reflects an estimated 54% decline from its estimated gross of $34 million last week. It stars Shailene Woodley, Theo James, Kate Winslett, Octavia Spencer, Jai Courtney, Ray Stevenson, Miles Teller, Ansel Elgort, Maggie Q, Mekhi Phifer, and Naomi Watts.

Meanwhile, Polish comedians have made a parody trailer for "Fast and Furious 7," as per Mirror. The trailer was posted on Apr. 3 and featured three actors, car racing and chasing, some fight scenes, and explosions. Following its release, the video has become viral with more than one million view and more than 26,000 likes.

"Fast and Furious 7" stars Vin Diesel, Dwayne Johnson, Paul Walker, Tyrese Gibson, John Ortiz, Michelle Rodriguez, Jordana Brewster, Chirs 'Ludacris' Bridges, Kurt Russell, Djimon Hounsou, and James Statham. Diesel, Neal Moritz, and Thomas Tull are the film producers, with Chris Morgan as writer. Original Fil, One Race Films, Relativity Media, and Media Rights Capital produced the film and it is distributed by Universal Pictures.

The film was released on Apr. 3 and is still showing in theaters.
