The partnership comes after LeTV's successful ventures on super cars, super televisions and super smartphones, announced its sports department on Thursday.

According to sources, the appearance of the "Super Bicycle" was patterned after full-speed flying birds. The smart bike's system is composed of a navigation system, emergency call capability, timer and music player.

LeTV and Flying Pigeon also aim to add other innovative functions such as smart anti-theft clock, smart control, social networking as well as rider data.

The rider data is said to be able to provide real-time information including blood pressure, pulse and heart rate. Through built-in tools, the user will also know the speed and distance by which he or she is running.

Meanwhile, its smart lock is designed to make a loud noise and to provide information about the bike's current location to its owner after someone tries to ride and fails to pass an ID verification scheme.

The bike can be connected to a smartphone, hence giving the ability to show suggested best route. The route can also be seen in the display of the "Super Bicycle" itself.

The "Super Bicycle" of the LeTV-Flying Pigeon tandem also sports standard features including headlight, tail light and turn indicators.
