The science fiction Star Wars flicks would be released for streaming and downloading across various retailers. Moreover, the entire collection would cost only $99.99 on Amazon while Vude provides a preorder discount of 25% wherein the entire collection would be sold for only $89.99. It would also be available on PlayStation Store and Xbox Videos as well.

Furthermore, confirming the news on their website StarWars.com, Walt Disney Studios, Lucasfilm Ltd., and 20th Century Fox, talked about the release of the seventh Star Wars epic, "The Force Awakens" in December 2015. Moreover, it was also remarked that the movie is drawing a lot of user anticipation due to the long lull between the releases.

Kathleen Kennedy, the President of Lucasfilm Ltd. has conveyed her happiness on the saga being digitally available to fans globally. She went on to add that the movie gained such a huge fan base owing to its pioneering technology, design, sound and visual effects. Furthermore, fans hoping for a HD release of "A New Hope", "The Empire Strikes Back", "Star Wars Holiday Special" and "The Return of the Jedi" are in for disappointment yet again.
