The episode recounts how Jimmy used to be a con man in Chicago earlier, much to the chagrin of his devoted brother Chuck.

The past episodes also revealed how much the McGill Brothers mean to each other as reported by Vox.

Chuck has been Jimmy's idol since they were younger and he wanted to follow in his big brother's footsteps even to the point of studying law.  Jimmy does everything to show how much he loves his brother by doing his errands and helping him to be comfortable in any way, as per reports by AV Club.

The first season's paradox showed Jimmy's inadequacy in courtroom battles. He agrees that they are not capable of taking action versus a more established firm which only wants them to do paperwork and take on small jobs.  Despite all this, Jimmy trusted Chuck and went along in giving their case to Hamlin, Hamlin & McGill. Fighting for the welfare of the exploited elderly gives Jimmy satisfaction. But along the way, Jimmy felt something amiss with regards to his future with Chuck on his side.

Jimmy gets disappointed when Howard told him that the job he is aspiring for isn't given to him.  He believes he can be a good lawyer who can help out people and stop the injustice done to them.  He knows that having a career at a prestigious law firm with million-dollar cases will get him places but it doesn't happen.  He was bewildered that Chuck didn't even fight for him and Jimmy feels betrayed.

This episode makes Odenkirk's acting shine as Jimmy waits for Chuck to admit to him what he has done.  He also admits that Chuck even used Jimmy's phone to call Howard. This episode has also seen how great Mike's character is, as he is always calm, not flashy, and doesn't talk trash.
