Internet security giant Kaspersky recently launched its coinvault ransomware removal tool, to fight one of the most aggressive kinds of ransomware, which is a type of malware that encrypts the files on the computer which it infects and when the owner of those files tries to open them, the malware demands a decryption key.

The company also warned the users that their data will be completely wiped off if they do not pay for the decryption key within a specified range of time.

The hackers generally demand the payment in the form of Bitcoins, which makes it that much harder for the police and web security officers to trace the source of the hijacking malware, according to Sci Tech Today.

The launch of the malware removal software was nothing short of a digital break and was first implemented on full scale when NHTCU seized one such malware server, News Factor stated. The experts traced back the coinvault malware back to a group of large database of encryption keys which were associated with the ransomware encrypts, which were in turn used by the Kaspersky software to accelerate the process of making the system totally decryption free. This breakthrough software is also capable of removing the malware from an infected computer system.

This software is not valid to be used for every infected system, and the company is working on it and trying to get a solution on the same. They are also advising everyone that it even if such a software is available in the market, it is always the best practice to remain infection free and everyone should install an anti-malware software in their systems from the very starting.
