The Recon Jet smart sports eye wear will be the new wearable technology, which will be focusing on one of the major concerns of health.
This instrument can be compared to Google glass too, but a much improvised version of the same, states Sport techie. This latest technology marvel has a targeted audience even before its release, which was not the case with Google glass, which led to its ultimate and untimely failure. Recon will be focusing on sports and health, and nothing else, states News Informer.
Recon Jet aims at working with fitness companies and target those buyers who are actively involved in running and cycling. This gadget can be thought of to be similar as an mp3 player or an iPod, the only difference being that it will deal with sports fitness and health.
This gadget has a gyroscope, an accelerator along with a magnetometer, a barometer and a thermometer. There will also be a special display which will be located in a very visible location. It will be located below the eye of the wearer, instead of the Google glass's location of above the eye of the wearer. In this way, the user will be able to get the view with an unobtrusive vision.
This device also has its own web based platform and can also be connected to iOS and Android apps. You will also be able to receive notifications and messages on this gadget and the wearer can also take photos and record videos on Recon.
Additionally, the users can connect other health sensors and devices which can be used to assess health conditions in a better way.
