"Criminal Minds" Season 10 is only three episodes away from its highly anticipated finale. But before that happens, fans must brace themselves for an explosive Episode 21 airing this week. The upcoming segment is titled "Mr. Scratch" and will focus on an investigation of an unknown subject who is allegedly controlling the minds of the suspects in the murder cases. Episode 21 of the show is one of the much-awaited segments of Season 10 as it is helmed by series' star Matthew Gray Gubler. For those unfamiliar, the actor and director plays the role of Dr. Spencer Reid, the criminal profiler on "Criminal Minds." The last time he directed an episode was in Season 9 for Episode 20.
Many media outlets speculate that the upcoming segment will introduce a bit of a horror element to the show with "Mr. Scratch." According to the official synopsis (via Spoiler TV) for Episode 21, murder cases have three prime suspects. However, these suspects claimed to be influenced by "clawed shadow monster" to perform the horrific act.
The BAU begins to search for the UnSub who is creating the killers. As the team looks for the actual culprit, one of the officers finds himself in danger.
A promo video (as published on YouTube.com by TVBox Promos) released for "Criminal Minds" Season 10 gives the glimpse of the Episode 21 jam-packed with action and thrilling events. Meanwhile, fans can view photos from "Mr. Scratch" as published on Spoiler TV.
