UPDATE: Stan Marsh, Kyle Broflovski, Eric Cartman and Kenny McCormick are set to come back on "South Park" season 19 premiere on Sept. 16.  

While waiting for "South Park" season 19, fans of the hit Comedy Central animated series have declared their favorite character and the winner is Randy Marsh, which is voiced by Trey Parker, one of the show's creators.

Competing for the title 2015's Fan Favorite through South Park Studios, 64 "South Park" characters went head-to-head and in the end, it all came down to four semi-finalists, Randy Marsh, Kenny McCormick, Eric Cartman and Towelie.

In the semi-finals, Randy Marsh had 71,272 votes beating Kenny McCormick with 26,415 while Eric Cartman had 101,227 votes beating Towelie with 86,549 votes. This left Randy Marsh and Eric Cartman in the final round.

In the Championship round called "South Park" Bro Down, Randy Marsh earned 887,121 votes, which is higher than Eric Cartman's 802,283 votes.

While Randy Marsh is voiced by Parker, Towelie is voiced by Vernon Chatman, Kenny McCormick is voiced by Eric Stough and Eric Cartman is voiced by Brandon Hardesty.

An absent-minded and dim-witted geologist, Randy Marsh is the husband of Sharon Marsh. They have two children together, son Stan Marsh also voiced by Parker and daughter Shelly Marsh voiced by Eliza Schneider, Mona Marshall, Mary Kay Bergman and April Stewart.

Aside from voicing Sharon Marsh, Stewart also provided the voice of one of the seagulls in the animation adventure "The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge Out Of Water" with Eric Bauza, Tim Conway, Eddie Deezen, Rob Paulsen, Kevin Michael Richardson, Cree Summer, Billy West, Nolan North and Carlos Alazraqui.

Also in "The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge Out Of Water" voice cast is Antonio Banderas who, along with his former wife Melanie Griffith, has listed their Hancock Park mansion for sale at $16.1 million, Los Angeles Times reported.
