The current Invicta FC featherweight champion Cristiane "Cyborg" Justino, 29, has expressed her interest in fighting Ronda Rousey, 28, the current UFC Women's Bantamweight Champion.

On May 1, Cyborg appeared on "UFC Tonight," in which she said, "I signed a UFC deal, but it will be with Invicta. And my next fight is at 145. But you know I'm excited. I want to make my fight at 135 one day."

In the show, Cyborg made a plea to Rousey saying, "Let's go fight. Let's go meet at 140. You can have this fight for my fans and your fans and make a great fight for women's MMA."

Meanwhile, the official Octagon announcer for UFC events, Bruce Buffer, recently interviewed Manny Pacquiao through Crave Online. In the interview, Buffer asked Pacquiao to help him introduce Rousey.

While Pacquiao is preparing for his fight against Floyd Mayweather Jr., Rousey is set to fight Cat Zingano in a UFC 184, according to Fox Sports.

Pacquiao and Rousey are known as each other's fans.

Dubbed as "The Fight Of The Century" or "Battle For Greatness," the Pacquiao-Mayweather Jr. fight will take place at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada on May 2, Saturday.

While Pacquiao is currently the eight-division world champion, Mayweather Jr.  is an undefeated five-division world champion.

As appointed by the Nevada Athletic Commission, the in-ring referee in the highly anticipated fight is Kenny Bayless, who has officiated seven of Pacquiao's fights and five of Mayweather Jr.'s fights in the past.
