The production of the two movies will start in 2016 with back to back schedule. "Avengers: Infinity Wars" Part 1 will hit theatres on May 4, 2018 while Part 2 will be shown a year after, on May 3, 2019.

Even the blockbuster's lead actor, Chris Evans, who plays Captain America in the franchisee, could not contain his excitement about the prospects of the sequel and blurted out the whole schedule, starting from his engagement with "Captain America 3: Civil War," the production of which will start in a couple of weeks.

"I think, sometime in the third quarter - fall or winter of 2016. That is going to be, like, nine months to shoot both movies back-to-back," said the actor, Classicalite reported.

The two-part instalment will be directed by brothers, Joe and Anthony Russo, of "Captain America: The Winter Soldier" fame. The monstrous epic will showcase several villians with the Dark Lord, Thanos, posing the greatest threat to the team of superheroes. Thanos, who was previously seen in  "Guardians of the Galaxy" and also had a sneak preview at the end of the recently released "Avengers 2: Age of Ultron," will come face to face with Avengers to present an epic fight for the cinema-goers.

The purple looking alien will be seen with the huge metal-looking glove known as Infinity Gauntlet with a seat for each of the franchisee's regular and popular, Infinity Gems, at the knuckles, Realty Today reported. As expected the sequels will revolve around the fight over the powerful artifacts that give immense power to whoever is holding them.
