NFL quarterback Tom Brady Jr., 37, has spoken after a Deflategate report that claims it "is more than probable" he was aware of the release of air from the New England Patriots' footballs while New Jersey governor Chris Christie, 52, asked people to leave the husband of Gisele Bunchen, 34, alone.

On May 7, Thursday, Brady Jr. appeared at an event at Salem State University in Salem, Mass., where he responded to the Deflategate report in a discussion moderated by sportscaster Jim Gray. It was Brady Jr.'s first public appearance after the Deflategate report.

Wearing a navy blue suit, jacket, khaki pants and sunglasses, the Super Bowl MVP was greeted by several onlookers, many of whom were wearing Brady jerseys, after he came out from a helicopter.

Many of Brady Jr.'s supporters in attendance chanted "M.V.P." when he descended upon the stage. However, the NFL star's decision to generally deflected questions about the Deflategate report drew boos from the crowd.

When Gray asked if the Super Bowl MVP win was tainted, Brady laughed and said, "No, absolutely not," New York Times reported.

Meanwhile, the New Jersey governor thinks there is a little bit too much attention on the Deflategate report.

Christie does not think "anybody's really trying to say that Tom Brady won four Super Bowls or became a future Hall of Famer because the balls were a little under-inflated," as The Washington Post quoted him saying.

Moreover, Christie mentioned that Brady Jr. has a supermodel wife, who walked her final runway in April, implying that the NFL quarterback's critics are only motivated to bring him down.
