T-Mobile will reportedly reward Samsung Galaxy tablet and smartphone buyers with $100 rebate starting on May 13, Wednesday, while the Google Nexus 6 still cannot use WiFi calling when used on T-Mobile's network.

As revealed by a leaked internal memo sent out to T-Mobile US Inc representatives obtained by Bidness Etc, the carrier plans to return $100 through a mail-in rebate on the purchase of a Samsung Galaxy Note Edge, a Samsung Galaxy Note 4, a Samsung Galaxy S6 or a Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 and the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 are also included in the promotion.

Moreover, customers may split the purchases of the said Samsung smartphones and tablets from T-Mobile into different transactions on different days as long as the second purchase is made within a month of the first one.

To avail the offer, T-Mobile customers should purchase both the devices on different days from T-Mobile via an equipment installment plan (EIP).

Meanwhile, when used on T-Mobile's network, the Google Nexus 6 has yet to be able to utilize the feature WiFi Calling, which the wireless carrier usually loves to boast about as a selling point over its rivals, according to Droid Life.

Months ago, it was expected that T-Mobile and Google will get all of the bugs fixed to make the feature WiFi Calling stable. According to T-Mobile product evangelist Des, the feature may be made available within one to two weeks.

"We're still working with Google on WiFi Calling for the #Nexus6 - bug was found over the weekend, looks like 7-10 days to fix & test," Des tweeted
