The United States Patent and Trademark Office have published Google's patent application with a title "Agent Interfaces for Interactive Electronics that Support Social Cues," PC Magazine reported that last week.

In addition, if the doll detects movement or sound (words or phrases), it will look where it is coming. It may also interpret any voice command and make a map out of it in a media device command, transferring commands to other connected media devices. It also plays music and turns on a connected media player.

Basically, it appears like the cuddly Amazon Echo that is being used to spy the kids and babysitters, according to Gizmodo.

Richard Wayne DeVaul is the name of the inventor of anthropomorphic device, coming from the Google’s X research lab.

It was 2012 when Google filed the patent. The search engine giant is rumored to make an Internet of Things OS called Brillo.

Google executives said that interactive doll entails an attractive user interface suitable for kids because it looks like any common toy.

One potential problem that can arise from this device is the issue of privacy, since the interactive doll is able to gather video and audio of the user.
