The "Game of Thrones" star Sophie Turner will portray the character of Young Jean Grey in "X Men: Apocalypse." Director Bryan Singer confirmed that the mutant Caliban will also join the cast of the movie.

Turner said that, "Feasting my eyes upon that script was insane! I just think the fact that it's such an iconic character and so well loved in the comics and stuff that it's very exciting to be able to take it on. Famke Janssen's portrayed Jean so well, so beautifully, and it's nice to kind of - although I'm 'young her,' it's nice to have my own take on it as well and interpret this character, this action superhero the way that I kind of want to. Oh, my God. It's so exciting," according to Mstarz.

Singer recently confirmed another character from his movie "X Men: Apocalypse," which is currently being shot in Montreal, Canada. In his latest interview, he also revealed that he posted some very interesting behind the scene pictures on his official Instagram account, which portray him directing the movie.

Mutant Caliban is supposed to sport mutant locator powers which can be seen similar to those of Professor X's Cerebo in the earlier "X Men" movies. His character is introduced in the movie to help fight with the other mutants and save them, according to The Business Insider.

Caliban's name is always associated with Morlocks, who are the mutants living in hiding in an underground community. Morlocks made their first appearance in "X Men" in the movie known as "X Men: The Last Stand." In the latest movie, Caliban will be helpful to Callisto and Morlocks and will also plan a vendetta against the anti-mutant groups who are responsible in killing the other Morlocks.

"X Men: Apocalypse" is the concluding film in the trilogy that also includes "X Men First class," which was released in 2011 and "X Men Days of the Future Past," which was released in 2014.

The movie is scheduled to hit the theaters on May 27, 2016.
