EVO is considered as one of the biggest video game tournament in the world, according to The Espacist.

EVO initially announced that the tournament will support the PlayStation 4 version of "Ultra Street Fighter IV." However, due to massive report of bugs and glitches, the tournament organizers decided to settle with the more stable Xbox 360 version of the game.

During the initial launch, fans of the "Street Fighter" fighting series were ecstatic to know that the well-beloved video game will soon find its way into the PlayStation 4 console. While the Xbox 360 and arcade version of the game were positively welcomed, the PlayStation 4 port was widely regarded as one of the worst installment in the series.

Days after the release, gamers reported various glitches and bugs that hampered the overall experience of the game. Gamers cited several problems including severe input lag and jagged in-game graphics.

Sony stated that the company is aware of the glitches and is currently working on a patch in order to remedy the problem. According to Engadget, Sony promised that a patch will be released in the weeks to come. On the other hand, the company did not release an official timetable regarding the release of the patch.
