"Jurassic World" star Chris Pratt has given his thoughts about who would emerge victorious in a fight between Captain America and Star-Lord, two iconic characters in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

In his "Jurassic World" media tour, Pratt told Comic Book Resources that the first Avenger will surely win if it is a fair fight. But then, he believes that Peter Quill will not be loyal in fighting fairly and will win against the patriotic superhero, with the Guardians of the Galaxy at his back.

The Guardians are assumed to meet the Earth's Mightiest Heroes in Joe and Anthony Russo's "Avengers: Infinity War," which may lead to a possibility of a head-on between Star-Lord and Captain America, as per Cinema Blend.

Superhero battles have been the trend in the comics for years, according to the publication. While these heroes have to combat in the comics, these events have contributed to the triumph of the film adaptations of the superheroes' stories.

Fans have seen Captain America, Thor, and Iron Man battle in the first "Avengers" film. Iron Man and the Hulk's heated battle has been a highlight in Joss Whedon's "Avengers: Age of Ultron."

The Russos' "Captain America: Civil War" will highlight the separate teams of former teammates Captain America and Iron Man while the duology "Avengers: Infinity War" will showcase more superheroes to the pack, such as Captain Marvel.

Even DC, Marvel's rival in the comics and the cinematic universe, is laying down the foundation of Justice League with "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice," to be followed by David Ayer's anti-hero film "Suicide Squad."

"Guardians of the Galaxy 2" is slated to premiere on May 5, 2017 while "Captain America: Civil War" is set to hit theaters on May 6, 2016.
