Fans will see Alexandra Shipp rock's character Storm rock a Mohawk hairstyle in Bryan Singer's upcoming "X-Men: Apocalypse."

Singer took to Instagram to share a new photo featuring Ship with her hair removed as she portrays Storm along with Sophie Turner. The photo also showed the actresses in the Canadian Grand Prix Formula 1 race, which was held in Montreal.

The original "X-Men" trilogy and "X-Men: Days of Future Past" featured various hairstyles of the weather enchantress, who was portrayed by Halley Berry. In "X-Men: Apocalypse," "X-Men" fans will see Shipp wear a never-before-seen hairdo for the Mistress of the Elements, as per Cinema Blend.

In Jim Lee's take on Storm in the 1990's "Uncanny X-men," the mutant had a bald hairdo. This connects to the possibility that Shipp had her hair removed for a Mohawk wig to fit better, as per Comic Book.

Shipp's incarnation of the Weather Witch also matches the 1980s design by Chris Claremont and Paul Smith. Also, Storm's look blends well with Simon Kinberg's tease on the mutant as a "troubled character who is going down the wrong path in life."

Aside from Shipp and Turner, the upcoming "X-Men: Apocalypse" will also feature newcomers like Lana Condor, Olivia Munn, Tye Sheridan, and Kodi Smit-Mcphee.

"X-Men: Apocalypse" also stars the "First Class" cast, which includes James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen, Hugh Jackman, Jennifer Lawrence, Nicholas Hoult, and Lucas Till.

"X-Men: Apocalypse" is set to hit theaters on May 27, 2016.
