Meanwhile, photos of the case for the 9.7 inch variant of Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 surfaced online, which further supported the rumors that the device is indeed coming soon.

The original Samsung Galaxy Tab S models were released in June last year. Samsung seemed to be following its previous release date pattern of the device in the summer. However, some sources are saying that the South Korean tech giant will unveil the new devices on the second or third quarter this year.

According to SamMobile, Samsung is working on four versions of the device and it is already in the works for its June release date.

Some of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 rumored features are 8-inch Super AMOLED screen display with 1,536 x 2,048 pixel resolution. Under the hood, the device will reportedly pack an octa-core Exynos SoC, 3GB RAM, 32GB internal storage, 8MP rear camera and 2.1MP front-facing shooter.

The line will have two core variants - the Galaxy Tab S2 9.7 and the Galaxy Tab S2 8.0 pertaining to the screen sizes of the tablets. The two models will further have two variants, namely Wi-Fi only and Wi-Fi plus LTE.

Samsung has not revealed the official specs and features of the device yet, but Trusted Reviews reported that the tablets will sport a "premium" feel as the devices will be made out of high quality materials.
