Police pulled over Stamos, who was driving alone in Beverly Hills, after receiving several calls about a possible drunk driver and transported the actor to the nearby Cedars-Sinai Medical Center for observation "due to a possible medical condition."

Stamos is set to answer to the DUI charge at a hearing on Sept. 11 in Los Angeles, E! News reported. A month before this incident, he made headlines upon the announcement of the "Full House" reboot titled "Fuller House," which will debut in 2016 on Netflix.

In "Fuller House," Stamos will not only reprise his role as Uncle Jesse but will also serve as a producer. Joining him in the cast are his "Full House" co-stars Bob Saget, Candace Cameron Bure, Dave Coulier, Jodie Sweetin, Lori Loughlin and Andrea Barber.

Some "Fuller House" spoilers were revealed days before Stamos' DUI arrest. One of the leaked details of the reboot is that Danny Tanner (Saget) will have a new and much younger wife although there are still no details about who will play the role.

On the other hand, TVLine has learned that the character is named Teri, 40, an attractive, vivacious and youthful African-American woman who has "quite an appetite for Danny and isn't afraid to shower him with affection."
