Xiaomi Mi 5 release is expected to be either in July or November based on speculated release dates. The Beijing-based Chinese electronics company has yet to confirm the release date of the Android smartphone.

According to VC Post the release of the Snapdragon 820 powered smartphone may happen in July. On the other hand, NDTV suggests that the release is more likely to happen by November. A roadmap from the company, which was leaked to the media further collaborates the latter launch date.

Xiaomi Mi 5 specs reportedly include the latest Snapdragon 820 processor manufactured by Qualcomm. It is also said to have have a display screen of 5.2 inches and around 3GB of RAM. The camera specs are rumored to be about 16 MP for the primary camera. The secondary camera is expected to have a resolution of 8 Mega Pixels.

The battery capacity is expected to be 3000 mAh for the efficient running of all the apps. It is also rumored to have a fingerprint scanner on the device as well.

There are also reports, which suggest that Xiaomi Mi 5 Plus will also be launched alongwith Xiaomi Mi 5. The upcoming phablet is expected to have a 6-inch display size with a bezel-free display. It is also rumored to have a 16 MP primary camera and a RAM of 4 GB. As regards the inbuilt storage on the device it is expected to be 32 GB. The phablet is expected to be powered by the super powerful Snapdragon 820 SoC processor.
